The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Tracker
The Elder Scrolls is a game series made by Bethesda Softworks LLC. There are five main installments of the Elder Scrolls: Arena, Daggerfall, Morrowwind, Oblivion, and Skyrim. On top of the five main installments, there are numerous spin-off games. These include games like The Elder Scrolls Online, The Elder Scrolls Blades, and more. However, the most popular of the series is the fifth installment of the main-series games, The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim. That is what this website is for. I personally love to hunt for achievements in video games and I love Skyrim, so I figured, why not make an achievement tracker for Skyrim.
In Skyrim, the player plays as the last Dragonborn. Dragonborns are the only people who can fully kill a dragon because they devour the dragons' souls. This is where the plot of the game comes in. To start the game, the player is in a wagon being pulled to a town to be executed with many others. They were caught by a group known as the Imperials trying to cross the border illegally. Most of the other people that are set to be executed are part of another group known as the Stormcloaks. I won't get into the lore of those two groups since that would take too long. When they get to the town that they are being executed, this is when the player gets to customize their character. After the character customization, the player is brought to the chopping block where they are to be executed. However, right before they could be killed, a dragon appears and starts rampaging on the town. This gives the player the chance they need to escape. After they escape, they are "set free" in the nation of Skyrim.
The game is a very long game with the main story taking about 35 hours on average. However, the main story isn't the only thing to do in Skyrim. There are many side quests and achievements not relating to the main story. I, personally, have over one thousand hours of playtime on the game and I still haven't done everything there is to do. The base game consists of 50 achievements. There are also DLCs in the game which give the game 25 more achievements. That is a total of 75 achievements in the game.
